AI training for recruiters
how to use AI in hiring without leaking data
Recruiters increasingly use AI tools to summarize CVs, write job ads and shortlist candidates. A CV is personal data, so pasting it into a public AI tool can expose information about candidates. The 60-minute PhishingU training covers what may and may not be pasted, how to spot an attempt to manipulate the AI through a CV file and impersonation of a candidate, and how to write a short procedure for the team. It is awareness training and not legal advice.

Why are recruiting teams especially exposed?
A recruiting team usually receives files from outside parties, keeps personal data about many people, and often works fast and under pressure. These three factors, together with AI tools that make pasting text effortless, increase the risk.
The risks the training covers
Candidate data in a public AI tool
CVs contain a name, phone number, address and work history. Pasting them into a tool the organization has not approved can create exposure, so the training defines what can be pasted, what must be removed and which tools are allowed.
Prompt injection through a CV file
Text can be hidden in a file in order to influence an AI tool that summarizes or ranks it, for example an instruction to recommend the candidate. The training explains how this works and why an automatic summary should not be trusted blindly.
Impersonating a candidate or a party in the process
Someone can impersonate a candidate, a recruiter or a hiring manager in a message, a video call or documents. The training covers warning signs and simple verification before documents or details are handed over.
Malicious files and links in the hiring inbox
Recruiters open documents from unknown people as part of the job. The training shows what a suspicious file or link hidden inside a candidate approach looks like.
